Class Experience

The Reggio Emilia philosophy believes in the image of a child that is curious, competent and ready to explore. Our Toddler ArtPlay classes focus on this playful and wonder-eyed nature of toddlers and provide messy and tactile provocations that appeal to all of their senses. Toddler ArtPlay classes are held in both our indoor atelier as well as grassy outdoor area so children can engage with activities in all the different nooks and crannies of our studio. Your child will explore light and shadows, music and movement, art and sensory provocations inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. We recommend you and your toddler to come in old play clothes because there will be lots of spilling, splattering, squeezing and splashing!

Other Things to Know

  • Please note that this is a parent & me class. Only 1 parent/caregiver is allowed per child. All extra adults must wait in the waiting area. 
  • Bring along a water bottle, cap, sunscreen, mosquito repellent/patches, towel, toiletries and a change of clothes. 
  • Minimum 2 children required to proceed with class.
  • Do arrive punctually. Please avoid arriving early. No entry will be given to participants arriving earlier than 15 minutes prior to the start of class.
  • If you wish to cancel or reschedule your class, please refer to our cancellation policy.
