Flower Play Reggio-Inspired Kit

This kit is meant to accompany the Atelier at Home Program: Flowers.

This kit consists of three play invitations, based on the inspiration flowers and are based on the Reggio Emilia philosophy.

The first is a potion-making invitation, where your child will get the opportunity to explore various materials such as spices, fresh and dried flowers, dyed salt to add into their potions. They will also watch a chemical reaction unfold as they mix the magic dust and foamy liquid into their potions!

Next, your child will explore the textural affordances of home-made dough as they use rollers and loose parts to make various marks on the dough. They will also have the opportunity to be a little florist as they use fresh and dried flowers to make a flower arrangement using the dough and a garden clay pot.

Finally, with watercolors, they will experience how colors and water can mix and blend and flow onto the paper. This is a highly exploratory and sensual invitation that opens up a vivid encounter with colors and flowers.

Contents of materials:

Fresh flower bouquet, loose parts, play dough roller, pressed watercolor paper, watercolor cake, paintbrush, glue, potion materials, homemade dough materials.

NOTE:

• Kits are available for self-collection in our studio in Menteng. Due to the fresh and perishable contents of our kit (i.e. flowers), it is advised that the play activities are worked on as soon as possible.
• This kit contains enough materials for one child. If you have more than one child participating in the Atelier at Home: Flowers, we recommend purchasing additional kits. Siblings are entitled to a 15% discount off of the price of the original kit.
• The kit is available on a pre-order basis. Kits take up to 5-7 working days to be fulfilled. You will be notified once the kits are ready for self collection.
• Access to the e-guide and set up videos will be granted after you successfully complete your purchase.
